CONCEPT PROJECTS

Ideas that question the familiar.

A collection of self-initiated concepts exploring new ways of living, gathering, creating and experiencing space.

Some begin with architecture. Others with a social system, an object, a landscape or a simple question: What if we did things differently? These projects are not answers. They are possibilities, imagined to challenge conventions, spark conversation and explore what could exist beyond what we already know.

Question. Imagine. Reimagine.

WHEN A HOTEL ROOM IS "JUST A BED."

Concept, Creative Direction & Architectural Storytelling

What if a hotel room didn’t need four walls?

A high-end hospitality concept that reduces the hotel room to its most essential element, a bed. Placed within extraordinary landscapes around the world, the traditional room disappears. Its walls, ceiling, atmosphere and view are borrowed from the Earth.

Each landscape becomes a different room.
The Earth becomes the hotel.

SPACES WITHOUT IDENTITY.

Concept, Creative Direction & Architectural Storytelling

What if a space didn’t need a name to have a purpose? We often design spaces by defining their identity first, a living room, a bedroom, a restaurant, a waiting area.

THE SPACES WITHOUT IDENTITY removes those labels. Architecture and landscape become places to sit, gather, rest, observe or simply exist. Earth becomes furniture. A field becomes a room. Snow becomes a place of pause.Instead of telling people how to use a space, it leaves room for them to decide. No labels. No prescribed function.
Just space and what we choose to make of it.

Every energy you put out, gets back in; "THE OYSTERS."

Concept, Creative Direction & Architectural Storytelling

What if a community could generate energy simply by living?

OYSTERS is a self-sustaining compound of 13 villas embedded into a hillside. Each glass-and-brick home is paired with a natural-stone oyster shell that moves with the sun, harvesting solar energy throughout the day. Across the compound, kinetic surfaces transform movement, walking, running, cycling, horse riding and playing into energy that flows back into the community. Food, energy, movement and social life become part of one circular ecosystem.

Everything participates. Everything gives back.

EXCHANGE MARKET POSTER.jp2

WHERE TIME BECOMES THE CURRENCY, "EXCHANGE MARKET."

Concept, Creative Direction & Storytelling

What if what you know was worth more than what you own?

EXCHANGE MARKET is a marketplace where no money changes hands. Instead, people exchange time, knowledge and skills. You learn what you need by giving what you can, an hour of cooking for an hour of photography, a language lesson for help building something, music for movement, knowledge for knowledge. Everyone has something to teach.Everyone has something to learn.

Give your time. Share what you know. Take what you need.

Grown from the Earth, returned to the Earth, "THE LEAF VILLAGE."

Concept, Creative Direction & Architectural Storytelling

We do not bring architecture into nature.
We allow nature to become architecture.

LEAF VILLAGE is an eco-village imagined almost entirely from materials found in nature. Earth forms the walls, while leaves, bamboo, timber, fibres and other natural materials shape the roofs, openings, pathways and gathering spaces.Rather than placing buildings onto the landscape, the village is designed to feel as though it has grown from it, borrowing its forms, textures and construction logic from the environment itself. Only the essential infrastructure exists outside this natural material cycle. Everything else is conceived to eventually return to the Earth it came from.

Built by nature. Lived in by us. Returned to nature.

JUST A TABLE, THAT CHANGES WITH EVERY PLACE IT VISITS.

Concept, Creative Direction & Storytelling

What if a table could travel the world and belong everywhere?

JUST A TABLE is a travelling table shaped by the places and people it encounters. It moves through cities, villages, fields and communities, using local ingredients, local hands and local traditions to create shared meals. The place changes. The food changes. The stories change. But the table remains.Part dining table, part mobile kitchen and part gathering place, it creates a space where people cook, eat, exchange stories and learn from one another, while helping provide meals for those who need them.

One table. Many places. Everyone has a seat.

A LIBRARY OF CREATIVITY, "THE PLAYROOM."

Concept, Creative Direction & Storytelling

What if creativity could be borrowed?

THE PLAYROOM is a free creative loan store bringing access to music, art, movement and self-expression into communities where these tools may not always be accessible. Musical instruments, cameras, art materials, recorders, speakers and other tools for making and exploring can be borrowed, experienced and returned, ready to inspire someone else.

Borrow. Play. Make. Explore. Return. Share.

Creativity belongs to everyone.

THE HATS.

Concept, Creative Direction & Storytelling

When the catwalk begins before the models appear.

What if the landscape became part of the performance?

A catwalk concept for a beachwear brand where fashion, performance and nature move as one. Surfers ride the waves while oversized hats rest mysteriously across the beach. At an unexpected moment, the hats open, revealing models beneath them. As they rise and begin their walk, the surfers reach the shore and join the procession. There is no clear beginning or stage,  only movement, surprise and a show unfolding naturally within the landscape.

The beach becomes the catwalk.
